Our Story

Hondoq was co-founded by retired Navy SEAL Art Wills and defense entrepreneur, Bobbi Joe Wills. After a distinguished 21-year career, Art embarked on an 8-year journey in industry, tackling complex technology, supply chain, and logistics challenges for the U.S. government and military. His expertise led to the design and manufacture of cutting-edge, man-packable drones and accessories.

Bobbi Joe, bringing deep experience in defense technology commercialization and strategic growth, joined forces with Art to turn vision into reality. Her leadership in shaping Hondoq’s product strategy and market positioning has been instrumental in bridging the gap between military needs and scalable solutions.

The inspiration for Hondoq came from recognizing a critical gap in the market: while the U.S. military owns many UAS platforms, these drones are limited to ISR applications. To address this, Hondoq was born, with a mission to create scalable effects accessories that could be easily integrated with both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and MILSPEC drones, providing immediate, effective solutions. Traditional drones that offer scalable effects are often prohibitively expensive for most units, but Hondoq’s innovative drones and accessories offer cost-effective alternatives, empowering warfighters with versatile options at a distance.

As Hondoq evolved, it became clear that the same technology could revolutionize a range of accessories for commercial use. Today, Hondoq continues to push boundaries, bridging the gap between military and commercial drone applications, with a commitment to enhancing safety and effectiveness across industries.
